Statement of Faith

Rooted in Scripture and God's Truth

Holy Bible
The Holy Scriptures are the Word of God—the absolute truth and final authority for faith and life.
Psalm 19:7–8; 119:160; Proverbs 30:5; Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21

Trinity
There is one eternal God who exists as three distinct Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:1–3, 26; Isaiah 48:16; Matthew 3:16–17; 28:19; Luke 1:35; 2 Corinthians 13:14

Jesus Christ
Jesus of Nazareth, the Living Word, is fully God and fully man. Born of a virgin, He is the only way of redemption, eternal co-Creator of all things. He lived a sinless life, performed signs and wonders, died for our sins, rose on the third day, and now reigns at the Father’s right hand until His return.
Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:18–25; John 1:1–3, 14, 18; 14:6; Philippians 2:5–11; Revelation 19:11–16

Fall and Redemption
God created humanity—male and female—in His image to walk with Him and steward the earth. By free will we rebelled, bringing separation and death. In mercy God planned our restoration through Christ before the foundation of the world.
Genesis 1:26–28; 2:16–17; 3:6, 14–19; Romans 5:12; Revelation 13:8

Resurrection
Jesus rose bodily on the third day. We await the resurrection of all people: the redeemed to eternal life with God, the lost to eternal judgment and separation.
Daniel 12:2; Mark 8:31; Luke 24:36–39; John 20:26–28; 1 Corinthians 15:42–44; 2 Corinthians 5:1–10; Philippians 3:21; Revelation 20:11–15

Salvation
Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ’s finished work alone—a gift that cannot be earned by effort or ritual. At new birth the Holy Spirit makes the spirit new.
Ephesians 2:8–9; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:16; Titus 3:5; Romans 8:9; 10:9–10

The Church
Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of His Church—a spiritual family of the reborn, not a building. Led by the Holy Spirit, this body uses diverse gifts to build one another up and stands united so that darkness cannot prevail.
Matthew 16:16–18; Ephesians 1:22–23; 2:19–22; 4:11–16; Hebrews 12:22–24; John 17:20–23

Baptism
Every believer is to be baptized in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Baptism does not save; it is a public profession of faith and identification with Christ’s death and resurrection.
Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:15–16; Romans 6:3–4; Galatians 3:27

Faith
True faith makes the reality of God’s Kingdom present on earth. It is assured hope and trust in God’s character. It grows by the Word, works through love, and bears fruit through steadfast endurance.
Hebrews 11:1; Romans 10:17; 12:3; James 2:17; Galatians 5:6

Repentance
Repentance is a deliberate turning from sin to God—more than remorse. It is a change of mind that produces a changed life. Without it, spiritual danger remains.
Luke 13:3–5; 15:7, 20; Acts 3:19; 2 Corinthians 7:10; 2 Timothy 2:25

Gifts of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit, co-equal in the Trinity and sent by Christ, empowers believers and distributes gifts as he wills to build the Church and display God’s authority. We seek them in humility and love, as Scripture teaches.
John 14:16–26; 16:7; Acts 1:8; Romans 12:6–8; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11; 14:1; Ephesians 4:7–16; Hebrews 2:4; 1 Peter 4:10

Sanctification
Christ’s blood makes us holy at salvation. Sanctification is the lifelong work of growing into His likeness. As we submit to the Spirit and abide in the Word, we are transformed, walk in freedom, and bear holy fruit.
John 15:5–8; 17:17; Romans 12:1–2; 2 Corinthians 3:17–18; Galatians 5:16–25; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; 1 Peter 1:15–16

The Great Commission
Jesus commissioned his people to take the Gospel to all nations: preach biblical truth, make disciples, and demonstrate His Kingdom through healing, deliverance, and victory over darkness.
Matthew 28:18–20; Mark 16:15–18; Luke 9:1–2; 10:9; Acts 1:8; John 14:12
