Inner Healing from Trauma and Dissociation

Trauma can split how we experience ourselves. What helped you survive can later hijack adulthood—sudden reactions, blocked prayer, a sense that part of you never left the original pain.
We pray with people to bring those wounded parts into the presence of Christ for healing that lasts, then close the spiritual access points that keep torment in place.
What is Dissociation?
Dissociation is God’s mercy: it temporarily detaches the mind from overwhelming trauma, fragmenting the soul (mind, will, and emotions) to isolate the pain and enable survival. It is not a disorder, but a gift for coping with severe trauma.
In our ministry we call these splits Dissociated Parts of the Core (DPCs)—soul fragments that break off in unbearable pain. Demons often enter the wound at that moment and torment from within until the root trauma is healed.
DPCs can form from the womb through old age. The core person may be amnesic, partially aware, or fully conscious of the trauma.
Common causes include:
• emotional or verbal abuse
• physical abuse or pain
• sexual abuse
• any overwhelming trauma the core person cannot process
Why It Becomes a Problem?
In adulthood, stress can trigger dissociated wounded parts that displace the mature self. We then see life through that wounded lens, producing double-mindedness and instability (James 1:8). Unresolved childhood trauma keeps driving self-destructive patterns.
Unresolved pain forms hidden strongholds that give demons legal rights. Inner healing is essential for lasting freedom—it closes their main access, the broken heart.
Demons cause the following:
• quench the Holy Spirit
• block connection with God
• stir ungodly emotions
• cause physical and mental sickness—hindering abundant life
God wants His people to prosper in soul, body, and spirit.
The Path to Restoration: Leading Parts to Christ (LPTC)
A Miracle of Divine Relocation
In focused prayer, the Holy Spirit takes hold of dissociated soul parts, lifts them from the mind, and places them with Jesus. Many people who receive inner healing then see Christ receive and embrace that part as the wound is taken out of the soul. This is a miraculous work of the Holy Spirit in prayer, not a guided visualization or meditation technique.
Why Our Approach Is Different
Counseling can stabilize symptoms. We address the spiritual wound at its root core.
In obedience to Matthew 19:14 - “let the little children come to me” - we do not manage these parts; we release them into Christ’s eternal care. Counseling and medication can ease symptoms, but they cannot relocate a fragmented soul to Christ for total healing and spiritual freedom. Only Jesus can heal the broken mind.
Leading the Parts to Christ brings lasting transformation and true peace through genuine wholeness by soul relocation, direct encounter with Christ’s comfort and love, Christ permanently healing the wound left in the soul, and freedom from inner torment.
The Foundation for Deliverance
Inner healing serves as the essential precursor to total deliverance. By healing the broken heart first, we close the primary spiritual doorways used by the devil.
Restoring the soul ensures a lasting victory. Through the power of Christ, the foundation for deliverance is established.
"But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
Matthew 19:14
