Gideon Ministries

Jesus gazes upon us with infinite compassion, moving to restore what was broken.
Deliverance
Deliverance is the process of breaking the demons' legal rights by breaking the curses that the demons enforce.
In deliverance ministry, the central process involves first breaking and removing these legal rights before casting out the demons.
What is a legal right?
In simple terms: A legal right is a spiritual permission that functions like a yoke. It binds a demon to a person because God’s kingdom operates according to spiritual law. Until that permission is broken, the demon has ground to stay.
Spiritual Warfare
Our deliverance ministry is spiritual. Our power is in Christ, through his Spirit. We never use physical restraint, because the weapons of our warfare are not physical (2 Corinthians 10:4).
We also do not scream at demons. Instead, we use firm, authoritative commands and follow the example of Jesus, who commanded demons with authority.
We follow the pattern of Jesus.
A ‘legal right’ is an opening the enemy claims through:
• Unrepented sin
• Trauma
• Occult involvement
After these legal rights have been broken, we speak commands in Jesus's name and compel the spirits to leave under the authority of the Holy Spirit. As ministers we are only vessels. Jesus sets the captives free; God fights the battle. Our part is to show up in faith. All glory belongs to God.
Our Authority
Believers have been given authority to bind and loose. What is bound on earth is bound in heaven (Matthew 18:18). We use spoken words to bind demons, stop their assignments, and shut down their plans—whether the issue is demonic oppression, sickness, or other spiritual forces.
A simple process we follow:
1. Identify and break the legal rights and curses.
2. Bind the spirits in the name of Jesus.
3. Command them to leave.
4. Leave the person in the care of the Holy Spirit.
What Happens Next?
If you’ve been stuck in cycles that prayer and counseling haven’t fully resolved, our deliverance ministry would welcome the chance to talk with you.
If you’d like prayer or a deliverance session, reach out. You don’t have to figure out the next step alone. Come as you are—God does the work.
"She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, 'In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!' At that moment the spirit left her."
Acts 16:18

True freedom in Christ is the promise for every believer, breaking every chain of oppression.
